Windows users: SublimeText needs to know where to find a program that can run javascript. Use Winkey-R, type "cmd", and enter to open command prompt. Type "where node". The path it returns is what you should type into the config file in SublimeText. For me it was "C:/Program Files/nodejs/node.exe". If "where node" complains about not being found, you should download nodejs from (then use the above steps to point sublime to the installed exe).

Hi, complete noob here with this kind of stuff... Followed everything up until after I save it. I'm not really sure what to do after saving it or how to proceed. I'm using windows 10 by the way. I also downloaded the "Current" version of node.js, I don't know if that affects anything.

EDIT: Just discovered youtube-dl command. Its GUI version is also available through a WebUpd8's PPA, but is not that powerful as its backend. As I said before, is one of the most powerful CLI tools to download videos from almost anywhere in the web.

If you use Firefox, they have a downloader, and for some videos it might require the installation of a companion app, which is quite straightforward. For me it works with 99% of videos on pages I visit with the Fox, if there is a video on the page you click on the icon and it offers you several options including to convert from one format to another. Magic for me.

Windows 10 comes with .NET framework 4.5 pre-installed, but many apps developed in Vista and Windows 7 era require the .NET framework v3.5 installed along with 4.5. These apps will not run unless you will install the required version. When you try to run any such app, Windows 10 will prompt you to download and install .NET framework 3.5 from the Internet. However, this will take a lot of time. You can save your time and install .NET Framework 3.5 from the Windows 10 installation media. This method is much faster and does not even require an Internet connection. Here is how to install it.

Download the file, extract it from the ZIP archive to the Desktop, right click it and choose Run as administrator. The file will install .NET Framework 3.5 automatically after finding the drive letter of your Windows 10 installation media.Click here to download the batch file.

On 3 separate machines updated to Windows 10 1803 to the current July 2018 updates I was not able to install Microsoft .NET 3.5 from the Turn on Windows Features as it wanted to go to Windows Update to download the install files.

One of our apps still demands .NET 2.0 and we had just given one of the users a new Win 10 x64 machine. Long story short is that this app had to be re-installed for the user, failed because this time it could not find .NET 2.0 and my notes from installing .NET 3.5 on WIn 8.1 worked right up to the point where Windows tried to download .NET 3.5 and failed. I hunted down the Win 10 DVD that came with those workstations, copied your command and installed .NET 3.5 in a few minutes. Your guide laid out just what I needed to do. Kia kaha! 041b061a72
